Dana Tai Soon Burgess (born February 26, 1968) is a leading American choreographer, dancer, performance artist, and cultural figure. It is the preeminent contemporary dance company in the Washington, D.C. area. In 1994 he received the award for Outstanding Emerging Artist at the 12th Annual Mayor Arts Award Ceremony.
